Hello to the Lloyds gang!

I sent the S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) to Lloyds back in April and have had a letter from them stating:

"unfortunately as the account in question closed in 3/3/00 we no longer have access to this information and are therefore unable to provide the statements requested"

I thought we could go back further than 6 years now?

Any ideas on what I should do?

I have managed to find only one statement and this shows a charge at £35, do you think I should just try and re-claim this back?

I would appreciate any advice or help. Thank you.

PS. I won £4,000 from Abbey today!!!

Congratulations on Abbey win!

Have seen several people in LTSB forum that have got statements back to at least 1997 - so I'm sure that the data is out there somewhere - keep persevering and you will find it

I had the same problem, the first copy (charges only) came from the copy statement unit, Birmingham'; but in the end I actually got my statements going back to 1997 from my local branch, but only by ringing the Customer Service Recovery Centre, Andover - 01264-725214

If you think this post has been of help, please click on my SCALES on the left - thanks :-) :-x
