I did have an account with Natwest, but it all went horribly wrong when I went overdrawn (by £2!!!) with an unauthorised overdraft. They added on charges and blah etc etc, and I ended up being -£256 with no overdraft facility on the account.

They adv they would give me a 'loan' of this amount and I would pay them back £26 a month until the amount had been paid off. I signed up to do this....

Many years have now past and I am finally trying to get my finances in order due my previous mistakes....

Can I claim these bank charges back? Or is it just wishful thinking? From what I can remeber all this was going on approx 5-6years ago... :-|

Certainly you can. Up to 5-6 years ago is relatively easy. For any over six years old see http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/general/80486-claiming-beyond-6-yrs.html
