Well done Realist. It gives me great hope, and I'm sure hope to many others here to see that someone as inept as yourself at claiming your charges back (no insult intended, you yourself admitted to filing yourself as the defendant!) can get your charges back. It just shows that as long as you stick to your guns and your timtable, and ask questions here on the forum to make sure you are proceeding correctly, you will get a result.

Once again, well done :)

  • 3 weeks later...

Well,

Just received my first bank change in months and months after me recovering my bank charges a few weeks ago.

I called Halifax and said I was not happy being charged £39 but was told that if they refunded the £39 pounds they would closes my account because they said they told me this when they refunded the last lot of fee's.

Well, be carefull and make sure you dont get charged or they will close accounts.

Well here comes a new account me thinks :)
