hi everyone.

Just been reading some of the threads which has really empowered me and inspired me,

I`m just waiting for my statements to come through at the moment and am really starting to get quite excited.......,myself and my partner are going to claim the money back which is OURS !!

To think that we`ve never questioned these rip-off charges before is amazing.... £30 for a computer to spit out a letter and send it to you ??

Anyway we`ve never done anything like this before so may need a cuddle along the way ... which will be greatfuly recieved (as well as advise).

dokie.:) :)

Hello Dokie and welcome to CAG.

You have certainly come to the right place, where you will get lots of help and support to recover what is rightfully yours.:)

This is the Nationwide forum, where you will make immediate contact with all the others currently dealing with that bank. They are the best people to advise you directly. Please keep your thread updated and ask any questions. Also read the other threads for people dealing with Nationwide, who are ahead of you in the process.

You will find other information from the forum homepage

http://www.consumeractiongroup.c o.uk/forum

where you will also see links to FAQs and many other sources of background info that you must study so that you get your claims right. This is a self-help forum, and while people will help you, it is your responsibility to do the background study and work.

There is also a live chatroom for general queries, or just to meet people and discuss the issues.

Welcome aboard and enjoy the ride :D

I don't imagine this will be a problem. They're one organisation (unlike some banks) and all in Swindon so they should be able to pass this to the right office:)

They have 40 days to send you the statements, but I think they have a bit of a backlog with claims at the moment :D :D

hi dokie, welcome to CAG i sent my letter to swindon and it was ok, i recieved my statements 3 weeks later.. did you send it recorded delivery? if you did (which you should always do) go on to the royal mail web and put in the 13 digit code and track your letter. you will see when and who took delivery of your letter. the following day count as your day 1 of 40. count weekends and bank holidays too! they have 40 days to comply and they know it..

good luck in your quest

keep us posted ~ any questions just ask :)

  • 1 month later...

Well the 40 days for my statements are up monday and still no sign.

i`ve checked the royal mail website and it says it has been delivered,

but when i sent my sar i enclosed a £10 p/o as i don`t hold a cheque book.

I phoned royal mail to see if it had been cashed and they told me they don`t hold that information (so whats the bloody point of using postal orders) ?

anyway just need some advise on what to do when the 40 days are up ?

i have already checked the templates forum for this but none seem to address the fact that i have not recieved anything yet ?

pls help.

thanks.

dokie.
