Hi guys,

I'm at the stage where tomorrow Barclays will have had their 14 days since prelim letter and i've still had no response and no initial settlement letter.

Whats peoples opinions of speaking to their customer services department re "i've had no response, i'm requesting **** back, i'm aware that you will no doubt will offer a small settlement etc.... what will you offer me to shut up and go away"

Any ideas?

Cheers

Me

Jojo, you can call them by all means, but in doing so, you are giving them reason to think that you won't see this through till the end. It is very early days at the moment and Barclays tend not to discuss diddly-squat until at least a court hearing date is issue.

Don't give them the satisfaction of thinking that you're desperate for your money. See it through to the end, get the lot :)

IMHO, calling is a waste of time, particularly at this stage. They only seem to be interested in speaking to you in the last week before court....

I prefer to do everything in writing anyway, because you have a perfect record of what's been said, and by whom.

Best of luck,
