My partner had a debt with online finance. This was for a moped he had bought before we got together. He heard nothing until a letter arrived from Shoosmiths solicitors, asking for him to pay £450 which is owed to online finance. He contacted Shoosmiths and came to an arrangement to pay £20 per month, and they accepted on a 3 month basis to be reviewed, and told him that they would send payment slips.

When the payment slips arrived, I noticed that the balance they are now trying to reclaim is for over £900 but this is not the amount agreed on. Are they allowed to do this?
