Dear all,

I have not received any statements yet from Morgan Stanley and my 40 day DPA time scale is up in six days.

However I have received the following letter which I have responded to

Dear Mr Clarke

I enclose a Subject Access request form for you to complete and return to ourselves in respect of your request for information, to which you are entitled to under Section 7 of the Data Protection Act 1998.

Please complete and return the attached form and we will provide a full response in due course.

In this instance, we have decided to waive the £10 fee. Therefore your £10 cheque has been cashed and this amount has been applied to your Morgan Stanley account as a credit.

Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us on the freephone number above.

Your sincerely

Graham Gibson

Data Protection Officer.

Can anyone advise me of my next move?

Best Regards<br />

You had better compy with the form. they are entitled to the deatils. however, a brisk note to him with the form telling him that it has taken 36 days to get this far is obstructive and that you now expect them to fulfill their statutory obligation without any further delay.
