So far no reply to prelim letter.

Sending LBA on Monday.

but something very strange happened tonight.

My sisters husband got a call at home from one of these companies that basically reclaim charges for you (what i'm doing for them). I am concerned as to where they got there details from as only one letter has been sent to halifax.

No details of theirs has been discussed by me anywhere.

He can't remember the company name but i have told him if they ring back to ask how they got their details.

It is possible that it was a cold call but i don't believe that really.

It might be a possibility that their details were given out as a recommendation from people they know who are using this company but he says he does not no anyone.

Is it possible (i know a small possibility) that someone at halifax as passed their details on to the company and gets a cut for referral?
