A friend of mine has received a letter from CRS (Civil Recovery Solutions) Notice of a Civil Claim.

She thought she had put a bag of large screws back on the shelf whilst holding lots of other things.  These had slipped into her bag.  She was asked by a store person, on exit of the store, for her bag to be searched.  The item was £11.25 and was given a few months ban.

Can B&Q pass these details onto the CRS who are now pestering her for a settlement figure of £95.15, although the claim value is £118.94.

This is causing her alot of stress and worry.

Will this go against her if she doesn't respond.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
