Usual letter back from Mr Townsend. Acknowledge receipt of letter, Returned cheque, stated statements where on their way but if I wanted personal info re manual intervention I would have to send a cheque for #10.

Funny I though I already had.

Ill send him the cheque back and ask him to get on with it

Barclays have failed to acknowledge the claim so Ive applied for judgement which has been accepted.

If Barclays run true to form within about a week they will be asking for me to agree to a set aside and settle in full.

Happy days

I really hope that it works out for you but, if you applied for judgment after 9am today, then it will be actioned tomorrow. They have done it several times before and acknowledged before 4pm on the day the judgment was aplied for and been allowed to carry on with the defence.

Keep checking MCOL just in case.

Thanks welshman

Their last day for acknowledgement was the 19th so I should be OK.

This is the 4th claim against Barclays and Ive obtained a judgement once already.

Im almost on first name terms with their litigations team at Canary Wharfe.

Good health

settled in full

£1200

Apart from £100 pre 2004 from Barclaycard which Im starting on soon thats me done.

Just over £4000 recovered for the offspring over the last 8 months and as I said at the start of this none of them went over the limit by more than £50.

for the first time Ive realised what a bunch of greedy money grabbers the banks have become interested in only one thing, making money. They do not appear to care about the carnage and suffering they inflict on the way.

All those who are just starting do not be put off you will get there in the end. Getting the money back is only half the enjoyment, knowing that you will never let these institutions treat you like that again is even better.

A joint family donation will be forthcoming as soon as I can prise it out of their grubby mits.

Good health to you all and a happy Xmas

Well done - shame Bailiffs were not called in. We would be sooo happy to see TV of bailiffs going in to Barclays.
