I have a credit card debt with Lloyds that I agreed to pay £50 a month for the last two years,

I've now received a letter from Lloyds saying that they've transferred the management of the debt to Wescot Credit Services Ltd and to contact them asap and direct all future payments to them.

I've not received anything from Wescot yet.

After reading the great advice on this forum

I'm thinking of sending Wescot a CCA request.

Would that be the correct course of action?

Thanks in advance

wouldn't bother IMHO

wetcloths don't buy debts anyway

and are not bailiffs

so have absolutely zero powers to do anything.

keep paying what you are to Lloyds

when did you take the card out

and have you all the statements and checked for things to reclaim?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Thanks for the reply

Not sure exactly when but it's at least 10 plus years ago. To be honest I don't have the statements, just the ones that Lloyds have been sending since the account was defaulted on.

So just continue to send the £50 per month to Lloyds at their address and ignore Wescot?

You think I should send a SAR direct to Lloyds?

I'll check the interest on the statement

What can I hope to achieve with the information I receive from them?

What am I looking for?

Thanks in advance
