No problem with Scotland having it own laws and even spending their tax money on the NHS if they want. My problem is they havent raised any taxes, just spent more of ours. No doubt Salmond didnt use those powers he has had for years as there is no bigger turn-off for a policy than having to pay for it and the No vote would have been much bigger.

Who is "ours" when you refer to taxation?

And Scotland's tax raising powers are currently extremely limited which would hardly make a dent and won't be much better come 2016 when more power is transferred.

In any case, just as many economists will argue that lowering the taxation burden is more beneficial to those economists who take the opposite view.

it seems only just and fair that the west Lothian question is sorted and soon, certainly at the same time as any more powers are given to Scotland, I think the referendum in Scotland has exposed these unfair practices.

Unions of 300 and 500 hundred years are bound to throw up questions in today's world.

An English only parliament would mean the end of the union.

Which is why the west Lothian question remains unanswered, it has been around a long time.
