I just received a letter from the Halifax telling me they wouldnt be refunding any of the £3300 in bank charges that they have taken over the past 6 years.

Have started filling in the on line claim form and was a little confused about a couple of points:

1.Do I use the "Particulars of Claim" hard copy in the templates section?

2. am I reserving the right to claim back interest as well?

3.the £3300 is the amount they have taken in returned D/D fees, not interest on O/D, do I still claim the money from the speadsheet?

Any advice would be gratly appreciated.

Am just about to fill in the court claim form as I received a letter from the Halifax saying they would not refund any of my £3300 in charges.

Please could anyone offer advice with:

Do I reserve the right to claim charges?

Do I use the "particulars of Claim" hard copy in the templates library

And finally,

All the charges they have taken has been for returned D/D's cheques etc, and not for interest in an overdraft. Can I still claim the interest laid out in the spreadsheet calculations?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/34887-5-money-claim-line.html money claim online particulars of claim text

And yes you reserve the right to reclaim charges

At this stage yes you can claim for the 85 interest, it is Interest pursuant to section 69 County Courts Act so can only be reclaimed when you file a small claim

Also ensure you send two copies of your schedule by snail mail to northampton as you cannot attach it online, ask them to attach it to your claim!
