I am a little concerned about going to court, I have done so in the past but that was not a claim for this reason. Does Natwest settle before a court date or just 'not turn up'?

I have filed a claim, recieved the standard defence and CPR 18 Request. I responded as per Martins template and entered my A/Q to the local court.

Having read the forum I guess I will next recieve an offer for half the amount of which I have to turn down. What happens after that?

Regards

Matt

Requesting £1156 + Int + MCOL (A/Q fee N/A due to £1400 claimed)

P.S. Thanks for the advice so far guys, EVERYTHING has gone as you said it would, timescales included!! :-)

Hi, I'm just a little ahead of you, my A/Q was handed in about 3 weeks ago i then got an offer of half my claim a couple of days after a/q submitted, i now have a court date set for 4th january but all paperwork has to be submitted to my local court this monday, there really dosn't seem to be any help once you reach this stage as most people are at lba stage, very scary time, i was hoping i would have got full settlement by now, dreading having to actually go to court but like your every thing has happend as advised so fingers crossed we will all be counting our large wads of money soon! Good luck with yours.

Tracy
