I have a loan with 1st Stop and I had it in a debt management along with some others

but decided that I was sick of paying someone a percentage to pay my debts so I cancelled it.

One by one, creditors have contacted me and I have resumed paying them what they were getting in my dm plan.

1st Stop emailed me and I responded with the same answers as I gave the other creditors

and made them the same offer but

they have not replied,

nor have I received anything through the post.

I have now received a CC Summons for £450.00.

Do you think I should contest this down to what I originally borrowed plus one months interest?

Hi Andy

I so want to challenge this Company, I have a notification of a roll over agreement which was for 250.00 payback 337.50.

The Court summons is for 402.00 plus 35.00 court fees total 437.00

they are going to take a extra 100.00 off me.

The summons is dated 26th September and I received it on the 28th.

I have read some of the postings on the link you provided and I must admit that some of it goes over my head.

Any further advice would be appreciated.

Regards
