However,

They did say that the government had failed to comply fully with its public service equality duties, but said it would "not be appropriate" to quash the regulations bringing in higher fees because there had been "very substantial compliance".

Sad news really, we kind of knew after all the protests and distinct lack of reponse that these measured and new tuition fees wouldn't be changed. I'm just glad I got through uni the year before this happened, as selfish as it sounds

I'm with you there Simon.

 

I do realised how fortunte i am to get htrough before the costs went up.

 

I think it is time - more now than ever, to impose financial management/skills as a core subject for all students from GCSE upwards.

 

Some of the subject matter that I was taught when going through the education system were no where near as important as the core skills of managing my own finances.
