I still have a credit card with them but a couple of years ago realised I was paying a fortune for PPI that I didn't realise I had and cnacelled it - am I still able to claim this back? Over the years I have paid off large amounts on this card and then ran debts back up again - it probably would have been easier to pay off if I hadn't had the PPI to pay on a monthly basis....

Hi

Yes you can reclaim. If they just whacked it on your account without your knowledge or consent then it was mis-sold.

Have you got all of your statements?

Also go along to the fos website and download a copy of the consumer questionnaire ready for completion.

Hi

Ok, to get as much information as they hold on you (including transaction history) you should send a Subject Access Request (SAR). Template is in the CAG library, the link to ehivh is at the top of every CAG page in green.

Cost is £10 and they will have 40 days to comply. From the information that comes back you should be able to calculate how much to expect back
