OK, if you can find anything to do with the CSA re-assessment that would be good - not vital though, but it would just be proof of what you are saying in your defence.

4dam, please try to stay positive - it will be OK. I know you must be very worried at the moment but you need to concentrate on the facts that are in your favour : you have made a large payment a few days ago : you are in employment and can show you are able to maintain payments towards the arrears which will clear them in under 12months.

Looking at those facts, you are in a much better situation than some of the cases I have been involved with - for example if someone with £9k of arrears who is only able to pay £100 extra per month can keep their home then you have every chance of success.

As 42man man says - stay strong.

HAPPY DAYS:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

All went well Judge was really understanding, And thought the CSA have caused all the hardship. Also he said i should only pay an extra £250 a month instead of the £370 i was offering.

So i would like to thank you all for your support. And a special thanks to Ell-enn, You was so helpful.

I plan to make a donation to the site just need to find out how?

One thing i never found out was is the charge each month for being in arrears still gong to happen? Its £50 a month

Fantastic News (told you it would be OK ;)) - glad the judge lowered your payments too - as I said, you were offering too much.

As Olive said, have a nice drink and sleep well - but remember to keep to your payment arrangement:)

The £50 arrears charges are added to the outstanding mortgage, not your arrears. You will probably find once you have cleared the arrears the lender will ask you to start paying off the charges - they may not though.

I love a happy ending...:D

Kind Regards

Ell-enn

 Geez i was feeling really tense reading this. Well done, 4dam for sticking at it, i'm really pleased it worked out so well. It's good to see judges are using their common sense. What fab guidance from Ell-en :)

I'm midway through the tunnel, but getting closer to the light.

Please be aware that i am not an expert in anything!

I may offer an opinion, but the final decision is yours.
