Hi Lee/All,

 

I have just checked my credit report for the first time and noticed that i have a default from "VODAFONE EX SINGLEPOINT" 29/11/2006 for an account i had back in 2003. To the best of my knowledge all payments for my account were made and i most certainly did not receive and letters from vodafone resquesting for money. I am Fuming and dreading this as according to Credit Expert any defaults shown on the account will stay for 6 years.

 

i) Are you able to look into this for me please?

 

i) Please do let me know what details you may/will need to be able to do this!

Hi Mazewht,

 

I can understand your concerns here and now that you've raised them with me I can assure you that I'll get this looked into and as soon as I have an update I'll get back in touch with you.

 

In answer to your question regarding how long a default is recorded in your credit file I can confirm the information provided Credit Expert is correct. However, in the event of an error action can be taken to remedy this.
