and then noticed a new entry in your Experian credit file under linked addresses, from Time Retail Finance, for the address you gave Currys and an old address?

It is annoying, to have to give your address for buying a pc, resulting in this.

The current resident of that old address wrote to TRF, requesting they remove my name from their address, but they haven't.

Is there a standard letter to send to TRF to tell them to remove my name from this old address?

Apologies for not answering your question about TRF but wanted to just point out that you are only required to provide your address when buying a TV due to licensing. Buying any other product from a retailer and you can politly tell them that you do not wish to provide your address. They will only use it to send you extended warrenty mailings.

They will usually type in their own/head office address for their records.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
