 i'm about to enter a debt management programme.my question is that a had a couple of payday loans over a year ago-haven't paid them anything for about 10 months.got all the usual calls and letters.ignored them all.heard nothing for about 4 months now.have they given up?should i add them to my dmp?or simply hope the've gone away??(i did actually pay them more in interest than my initial loan so they have already made a profit from me,but like so many others kept rolling over then couldn't even afford that!)

Hi Sillybhoy

If you don't add maybe a little bit of a gamble!. I don't know if they will let you add to DMP if they remember at a later date. I suppose they have to allow for 'innocent' mistakes.

I suspect PDE will leave you alone as they did with me after several months. QQ may pass to a DCA but I would have though they would have done it by now.

From what you say both have made money out of you and I certainly wouldn't be reminding them of any debt they may have written off.

Ultimately the decision is yours.

also just about to default with cash genie and wage day advance.i have informed them that i am entering a dmp and cannot pay but no response yet!!

I would add these.

Watch out for Cash Genie. Read some threads on them. They are not nice folk when you fail to pay them. They play around with court orders and on occasions write to your work/neighbours explaining your predicament.

WDA are normally OK.
