Hi there, you should most definitely attend the hearing unless you have been advised that it is cancelled. Don't take the word of your lender that it is cancelled - call the court and make sure.

If you don't get confirmation it is cancelled then you need to attend the hearing and take proof that the arrears have been paid. If that is the case you need to come back here and we will help you with a statement for court.

If the lender doesn't cancel the hearing and you don't turn up they could still get a possession order by not telling the court the arrears have been paid. This would mean you having to go back to court to defend possession and the lender would no doubt add their legal costs for the first hearing to your account.

Please let us know what happens.
