Back in Jan 2007 I made a successful claim against HSBC for my charges. In the last few months I have incurred a few charges and i (like everyone else here) would like them back.

Now I 've had a look through this forum but couldn't find anyone who has won for the 2nd time recentley, but i want to know if HSBC are still closing accounts when a second claim is made against them, as I remember them doing this a couple of years ago.

Thanks, tim

It's quite possible that they may tim, claiming irreconcilable differences in your relationship

Why not pre-empt them by switching your account to another completely different bank, for your day to day income and expenditure - that will give you breathing space to prepare your claim for the second lot of charges ........

There's no such thing as bank loyalty these days anyway , so you've nothing to lose by switching ..... and perhaps something to gain in refund of charges , once the OFT Test Case is out of the way .........

Nemo me impune lacessit
