Help regarding letter from Her Majesty's Court Services?

I received a hand delivered letter today from HMCS saying that the court wants me to contact them so they can serve documents upon me. The case number was prefixed SFP and the case is between the County court and myself. Does anyone know what this is likely to be? Does the prefix SFP indicate anything? Quite nervous about this!!

That doesn't sound right. The case should be between the claimant and yourself

 

Does it name the Court?

 

Is there a phone no. to call?

The court is named, but it is VERY unclear which it is as the hand writing is bad. There is a landline phone number along with a mobile number of the baliff. It said I must contact either the court or the baliff in 48 hours

Hey listen, they are not Camelot.

 

They aren't trying to serve something on you for YOUR benefit.

 

 

Having had stuff served on me once I can recommend avoiding it if possible.

 

So if anyone calls at your house, pick up some tools and tell em you're Bob the Builder and Ted (or whatever your name is) has gone out.

 

 

 

I'm not kidding, I was served on my front door and I almost had a heart attack, actually I thought I was having one.

 

 

I once had a customer who avoided the Revenue for many years, they kept visiting his shops and thought he just worked in them
