I'm just about to help a friend through the process of claiming back charges on his Lloyds account, but he is worried Lloyds might cancel his overdraft should he eventually be succesful.

I was wondering if anyone who has been succesful had anything changed such as their overdraft cancelled on their account as a result of claiming back their charges?

Thanks, Tim

Hi Syrill,

Any form of retaliation by a bank can be illegal. They may expect you to have your reclaimed charges paid off your overdraft. My account was not closed or my overdraft removed.
