Hi

 

hope someone can help, l leased a car in march08 and following a fall in june 08 the car has not been used now out of work i asked for the car to be returned which they collected, and now they have issued me woth an invoice for the full hire cost plus damage. Firstly they have had the car back and re hired it out so they are getting hire costs and state they can still make me pay the outstanding amounts

 

1, if i have to pay the full amount we would have kept the car

2, They can not return it as its been hired out

3, the damage was a small dent 50p size and they have invoice lump sum £800 plus with no confirmation beak down which we asked

 

they are chasing me every day

 

any help would be great

Will really depend on the terms of the lease, what does it say about returning the car and payments shortfall etc.

Write asking for a break down of all costs that they think you should pay taking into account that they have now released the car etc. They cant have all the money and the car?
