There is no conclusive evidence of actual amounts as the credit industry regards this as sensitive information.

 

However, recent press reports have stated that billions of £££'s worth of debts have been bought for Millions of £££'s

 

 

this would mean that debt buyers pay less than 10% of the value.

 

I would think the actual price paid would vary depending on whether there was a court order, charging order, enforceable agreement. a debt with any or all of these would be a much lesser risk than one with none of them
