  1. I can't log into my account today with my PC, although it still works most of the time with my phone. I keep getting a message about AOL being called Oath now and it says that before I continue it wants me to confirm I'm in the UK and to confirm their new privacy policy. When I try to accept their conditions or manage my options, it says 'Oops something went wrong, please try again later.' Every time I try, I go through the same loop. What am I doing wrong please? Thank you for any help. HB
  2. I am receiving a message advising the page cannot be displayed. Does anyone know if there is a problem with the Nationwide Online banking service ?
  3. Hi All I'm new to this site, but it seems to be one i'm going to love! I can't believe I've only just discovered it. I'm in the process of requesting a subject access request from my bank and would like to know whether or not they should record all instances of me calling them. I've had a conversation this evening whereby I have been told they have no record of phone calls made since 2007 which leads me to believe they should have. My calls are in relation to something important, but not something I would regard as a 'complaint'. Please could someone let me know if banks should hold records of all phone conversations regarding a specific account? Many thanks
  4. Hi all. I am trying to repair a friends laptop. When you sign in, the welcome sign appears and the blue circle spins round. But that's it. It will not go any further. I have started in safe mode with command prompt and done sfc /scannow and get this message afterwards:- Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations. I have also tried to do a clean install of Windows, but the CD drive seems to be broken. It makes a strange clicking sound but doesn't seem to kick in properly. The laptop just boots up normally because of this. I have made sure that the CD drive is number 1 priority in the boot order, but that doesn't help either. Any ideas?
