claiming over £2250in Scotland

Hi, should i go for seperate claims of £750 each through the small claims, or 1 claim of £1,500 through the summary clause, anda small claims for £750???

am trying to get as much info as I can. It seem so unfair the diffences in the law between Scotland and England/Wales, with regard to the small claims issues, however there might be change on the horizon.....

Im gonna try the summary clause, for up to £1500, it cost £49. You should try this way, hopewfully the will see ehat is happening and settle before then going on for the £750 through the small claims..

I was, and still am considering summary cause for my next claim. Here is advice from Robertxc

In my experience, the Sheriff will give you a lot of help in Small Claims, because it's intended for people who are representing themselves. Good luck.... my claim will be over the two grand mark , so summary cause is no good. Think will divide the claims into years ..

Just to let you all know, my court date was next week, and i recieved in the post the £1500 of my first claim from the bank- Keep it up-
