Folks,

any advice greatly appreciated; have sent second letter to A&L; 2 weeks now more or less up; claim originally for £143.00, but need to add 2 further charges of £59.00 to it. got a reply from them yesterday stating £12 CC fee, OFT report, usual Blah... offering the difference, not sure how they worked this out, but offered £110, F&F settlement of complaint, but as long as I abide by T&C's going forward and accept future charges, along with veiled threat that we won't close your a/c as long as you accept all this.

Don't want to go Court route, but no probs with FOS.

Has anyone any suggestions or action that anyone else in this situation has taken?

Thanks,

D

difficult to say - as far as I can see both routes take time - some have been successfull by FOS l so try putting search in above for FOS and see what threads you can find - or just keep trying by letter or phone calls - for a small amount you may be lucky

If you sent prelim your next step will be the letter before action, you can continue updating your schedule of charges until the time you file with the court. If you need to update after that point it costs you £35 and you cant claim this bac
