Hello!! Recently I went on a day out with a friend and gave them my 16+ oyster card while I used my sibling's 11-15 oyster. I got caught and lied on the spot saying that I muddled them up and meant to use my own and that I only had my sibling's oyster to top it up for them, showing the worker my 16+ oyster. He made me write down my address and made me tap in with my 16+ while taking away my sibling's one. He told me that a letter would be on the way and to tell TFL what I told him. I'm stressed and worried that I'll get a heavy fine that I have to burden my parents with. My sibling's oyster was being used the whole day, which I assume TFL will see. Would it be possible to just say that my sibling was out with me the whole day but then gave me their oyster card to look after while they went outside of London (we don't live in London) and I accidentally used theirs instead of mine?? Or would they check CCTV by any chance. I appreciate any help I can get with this!!
