Hi All,

Have received a set of statements from the Abbey, they are for ONE YEAR ONLY and have had nothing else back.

I have left it now for over a month, what should I do next?

Many Thanks

If the bank fails to supply you with your data then you should complain to the bank. Give them 7 days to comply and tell them that you will begin a complaint to the Information Commissioner and also that you will begin a County Court action under the Data Protection Act.

If the bank does not respond to your 7 day warning then begin your complaint and start your action.

If my advice has helped please click my scales

Should you require any further help feel free to pm me.

Did you send standard SAR quoting Data Protection etc?

If so and it is over 40 days you can complain to the Information Commisioner because they are witholding personal information from you. Will get back to you with the details, but as everyone else is so much more knowledgable they will probably post the info beforehand.
