hello. I have succesfully clawed back £1600 for myself from HSBC (very quick process) but have exhausted all correspondence with Lloyds TSB for my partner for £2255- started 28.01.07. So after numerous letters and threats, I am now having to take the small claims route.

I am going to read all threads, FAQ and templates before submitting and hope to be ready to go soon. Any tips about filling in the form for Court, what to include and so on would be very very useful. I will be donating to the site for sure!

Hiya Flo,

Welcome..

The FAQ's are here for you to have a read through...

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/faqs-please-read-these/

and the details for the claim form and your particulars of claim are here..

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/681-4-particulars-claim-n1.html

Good luck with your new claim, although as you scroll through this thread, you will see Lloyds tend not to fall over easily.

But so far, once they are ordered to disclose costs or actually go to trial, they do tend to just fall over and pay.

So, enjoy your new claim.

Read, Read and Read some more.

The answers are all out there...

By the way, it's your claim. I only offer an opinion as another reader.

THANK YOU. You're so right. LTSB are not a pushover! HSBC were very gentlemanly in their payout! I've proceeded to the online court application and have paid the £120 fee so am now very determined to see them pay out. I will let everyone know how I get on and am very glad to read all about everyone else's experiences. Shocking when you consider the amounts of money taken from people's accounts - repeatedly!!

Very useful indeed. I was sure to include all of the relevant info etc - who knows what I would have put otherwise!

Do I send the schedule as advised now or wait for confirmation from the Court which will include a case no? thanks flo.

Hello again, had devastating day re: bank charges today. 28 days up for Lloyds to submit defence, looked on MCOL and no defence!! Yipee, tried for AGES to submit judgement online with no avail, phoned MCOL and agreed to fax over manual form, did this, and came home, checked MCOL.... 'Halted'! GUTTED! Phoned MCOL and they said sorry but Lloyds' defence came in Monday but we didn't get a chance (!) to put it on. Oh no.. what happens next? Are there any news 'won' cases despite the recent judgements, in particular from North Wales customers??Many many thanks, Flo.
