Hi all posted CCA request to wescot credit registered next day delivery on 12th April no response by 25th April 12 day default cut-of then this morning 27th received a letter from them that they had no longer got the account and had passed it back to Egg on 29th March 2007 , very convenient methinks !!!!! they also returned postal order and said account ceased with them so will keep this letter in case they come chasing again and have sent of CCA request to Egg today registered next day be delivered monday 30th MArch so they have until 12th MAY 2007 to respond to me anyone had any experience of this situation or either company please feel free to post or pm me with any help or info , also wescot have said that they will send me a statement of what i have paid them in full as i never had a abalance or statement from last heard from egg five years ago , lisam !!! so not a bad result !!

Have you sent a SAR to egg for unlawfull charges? It might be worth your while doing this to see how much charges are on your account and claim to get them taken off and reduce the amount you owe.

A SAR is a requesting for an organisation to supply copies of info that they hold on you and is covered by the data protection act. So yes you can still SAR for a loan.
