I should record my win, despite the relatively meagre sum being claimed.

I won the full amount of £210, paid directly into my account a few days before Christmas (2006). This was after collecting my statements (I'd only had the account for 3 years) and sending one letter requesting payment.

The letter was hand-writen and did not follow any specific template, although I had done some reading up on the main points. I realise I was very fortunate, and that the small sum made a big difference in the Bank's decision, as any other course would have cost them more. All in all, I was left with a favourable impression of the bank and its processes... and there's the point. How long will it take for all claimants to be treated with the respect they deserve... and be left feeling satisfied that they are customers of a bank that values them?

Yes indeed, a win is a win. This particular win is what gave me the willpower to go ahead with a £3600 claim against Abbey and a £2200 claim against Barlays...

Hey you, Mr Banker Man, watch out! I'm coming to get what I'm entitled to...:D
