a letter from DG dropped through the letterbox today informing me of their intention to apply to the court to stay my action!! dont they realise the judge has already done that?? :x

 

Been here since February and it suprises you DG dont know whats going on ?

Freaky I've had some further thoughts...

 

Well they are basicaly accountants so making provision for the impending pay out does ring true but to fold now leaves them open to everyone including people that havent claimed.

 

What if this is an emergency fund which will be available from the end of September in case things get too hot/go wrong and they are forced to bail out early.. that would make more sense.

 

Their legal teams are telling them they have no chance of winning but they can see a limitation/draw situation if they hold their nerve and do some negotiation with the OFT/FSA.

 

If thats the case we have to make it HOT :D

Perhaps it is there incase the stay removal applications start to have some sucsess or if more judges decide to force the banks into freezing charges until after the test case.

Either way you are right, we have to keep up the pressure and make it like a furnace for them!
