Hi all

I have recently been looking into making a claim for getting my money back.

I have sent of my Data Protection letter requesting 6 years statements and have received a letter back from them making reference to manual intervention which states that these charges have been processed in accordance with the terms and conditions of their current agreement with me as a result of the activity on my account.

Is this a normal statement/standard letter they send out? Or are they trying to tell me that I can't claim them back as stated in the terms and conditions of my account?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Not sure if this is standard letter as I skipped the SAR stage seeing as though I had all my statements. You are however definately within your rights to request a refund of all penalty charges on your account. Seems they're trying to scare you off at the first hurdle!!
