Other than the Scots would probably have referred to themselves as Sweaty Hose, who's to say it's Cockney rhyming slang!.........could have been a Scot that chipped in that particular bit of prose.

 

How Scot's are you really if you let out the secret of a real Sassenach, that's a closely guarded national treasure.........just as well this is a CB thread, hopefully there will be no English folk peeking in and we have gotton away with it.

Not that one would responsibly try to conceal an exocet under your kilt (don't try this at home kids), messy if it went off a bit like carrying a firecracker in your trouser pocket........"Is that a banger in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me" Boom Boom!......(Basil Brush bit there).......Getting a bit carried away now, I think I'll go and lie down for a bit.

Could I just offer a word of caution regarding advice by PM which is discouraged on this site for a number of reasons.

As long as you don't include personal details like account numbers, names and addresses there shouldn't be a problem with identification. How did it go today guys, I'm really sorry I couldn't make it, I have had my kids to look after since Tuesday when I had to rush my wife into hospital (and I do mean rush) nothing serious but she was in terrible pain.

Hey Bookworm..........you imagine Bob's material was his own? Damn, I only borrowed his stupid book to fill in the last few chapters! It was going to be titled "Bob, my Scottish roots, written with my mate Dread who's my inspiration and abiding companion" (I thought the title needed to be shortened but......we all know Bob!) then quite unexpectadly the book was stolen from me. Imagine the press reaction, well obviously they didn't want to implicate me so they kindly left me out of the whole sordid affair thereby maintaining my anonymity to help my other mates write their books like "Bono, did they call me that at school or did I make it up". Then good old Elton "Did they call me that at school or did I make it up?.....don't be stupid it was the first attempt at Bernie naming something and it stuck". These artists really ought to get their titles sorted out! Talking of titles, "Beyonce" whats going on there then, if she wants a short name, take a leaf out of my mate Princes book and do it properly, squiggle, that was my idea as well, as soon as he started using it no one recognised him, all through the 90's and to date, we have not seen hm so it worked...........Damn I'm good........Strangely though, I feel the need to lie down, can't imagine why.

She also got accosted for a TV interview. She's such a celeb since her Tonight with Trever McDonald appearance in the summer that you just can't drag her away from the TV cameras.

Caro and Bookworm, Hijack away, I'm loving it and as I have nothing more to report than having written to the FOC with my complaint on CB's obstructive behaviour (filled in the official complaint form) and sent it off on Friday with all the letters I have written to them. Hopefully they will do something although, like you, I doubt it however I reckon it's worth a try.

 

Considering I'm only about half an hour away from the protest I was pretty hacked off that I couldn't make it, as for my wife, she recovering, almost back to normal. I'm glad you all had such a good time, now I guess I do owe you two a drink.......a painful offer I'm compelled to make, painful?.....short arms and long pockets ! LOL. I'm off to read the reports on it now.

what a bummer, as usual an organisation set up to protect members of the public doing a F*****G great body swerve. Did they say who you should go to about mail being tampered with?..................stupid question really, they would probably say the Police, who would in turn say, "civil matter mate, sorry".

 

What the hell do we all pay income tax, VAT, Road tax, petrol tax and every other damned stealth tax, struggle like buggery to build up businesses, educate our children and turn them into decent citizens when the chav's on the street corners can't be moved on and stupid ass quango bureaucrats simply shuffle paper, go for 3 hour lunches, take their fat salaries and refuse to do anything for the people they are supposed to represent!........Spitting mad doesn't quite do my feelings justice.

And there's a coincidence, letter arrived this morning from FOS, usual bumph about passing on the complaint to a caseworker blah de blah. No Christmas card, not even a Merry Christmas! I suppose their too politically correct in case It'll offend my faith!

 

I did, however, get another obstuctive letter to the last letter I wrote to CB which now I can't find!...........did a monster shredathon last week, hope it didn't get mixed up with that somehow.

I'm still spitting mad (10 minutes later...LOL). They are complete tossers, prosecution is usually discretionary and it's not the effing Post Office they should be doing something about it's the sodding Bank. So we all now receive summonses, tax demands, parking tickets for Pete's sake!, by registered mail, open it, don't like the contents so simply drop it back in the mail to be returned to the sender. I bet Postcomm would be fast enough to prosecute one of us for doing it, but not a bank........Noooooooooo, they're to honest, must have been a mistake! Feck, Feck, Feck!
