hi,

 

 

My 19 year old grandson was sold a car by carcraft in march of this year complete with 5 years servicing etc which costs him £50 per month ,

 

 

they bent over backwards to sell him it although he is an apprentice and only for 2 years.

 

 

I thought there was a rabbit off but being 19 he just wanted a new car like all young lads ,

he didnt realise they had collapsed until needing a service a

nd I would never deal with a firm like this as fortunately I do not have too.

 

 

I am trying to help sort this out but do not know where to start ,

 

 

can anyone advise me what to do or if they know of a group

 

 

o are fighting this appauling legalised fraud as that is what it is , FRAUD.

Hi and welcome.

If your son bought the car on credit, that is a separate package and is not affected by the collapse.

 

The drive happy policy is worthless and payments should stop. He could ask his bank to assist in getting the money back or contact Grant Thornton to see if his payments went to them.

 

There is no point going to the carcraft website as that has now been bought by a different company (who intend to sell online)
