Hi,

Anything I can or should do regarding a Nationwide account currently with MKD at £587

despite credit report reading 'Defaulted on 11 Apr '11 with a default balance of £0'.

Account was opened on 5th July 2006 and no contacts or payments been made since 2009 at the most...

.the entire balance is charges as never had credit or overdraft.

Any advice kind folks?

Thanks

NS

the £0 balance means the OC sold it on

when they do

they default the account

and claim back the tax.

is there an additional entry with MKDP as the creditor

and the 'correct' owed balance with the same defaulted date?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Sorry for the late reply....yes there is an MKDP note on the report with the balance, I actually sent a statute barred letter in the meantime to see what they would say back using templates.

Got a reply dated 14th August 2015 stating it isn't statute barred as a cash withdrawal was made on a statement that they attached highlighted 20th August 2009 (They stated correctly it was within the last 6 years).

My query is what do I do now as it is the 24th August so the 6 years passed 4 days ago as per their evidence?

its SB'd then ignore them

until/unless they are stupid enough to issue a claimform.
