Hi,

I recently purchased an engagement ring with ernest jones on finance,

the finance is provided by Hitachi finance.

I placed the order on saturday and since then i had a look on their website and

the price has been reduced by 20%,

i havent collected the ring yet but i have paid the deposit

and signed the agreement

is there anything i can do,

because this is very annoying??

you have 14 days to withdraw from the credit agreement

I would be letting them know that you are doing so now and by all means tell them why.

Online shopping prices are not always the same as store prices

so you may not be able to take advantage of both the reduced price

and the credit facility

but it would not make sense for a high ticket purchase to have such a difference.

if you signed it in store

be careful

there might be 'a signed on trader premises' clause

if so it should state it up the top

by the HP agreement bit.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

I have emailed Ernest Jones to state the situation, though I understand the credit is with hitachi, I mean I'm not entirely sure what I can do other than cancelling and trying again, there doesn't seem to be any signed on trader premises clause.
