hello I need some advice re car finance, I owe £5k, my car is worth at best £2.5k, I need to get them to reposess the car as I can now get a mobility one, hows best to go about this ?

 

I am one year into a 5 year agreement, the car was £7k all in when I purchased it last July.

first, what type of agreement do you have? eg hp/ conditional sale

 

how much deposit did you put down ( inc value of px)

 

how much is your monthly payment?

 

how many payments have you made?

 

any arrears?

really need to see the agreement could you post it up with all personal details removed.

 

You will need to Voluntary Terminate your agreement under s99 cca1974

 

and the formula to settle will be via s100

 

need the exact figures to advise on correct letter
