I took out a 10K secured loan with Blemain Finance and

have paid back approximately £15K so far.

I am not in arrears,

I too was unable to work, due to an injury

they said that my PPI did not cover me.

I ask for the £2,500 PPI back and

they said they could only give me back £500.00 which went towards my arrears at that time.

My statement reads that I now owe them £23K?

I do not know what to do...

. why have they allowed my loan to spiral out of control and how are they doing it.

What can I do to reduce what I owe.

I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Some advice would be greatly appreciated please.

Hello to everyone and I wonder if you can give me some advice please.

We took out a loan with Blemain finance in 2007 for £20,000 to finish our house renovation.

We have been paying it for the last 7 years and when

I received a statement form them it says we owe £27,000.

I have worked it out that we have paid over £20,000 to them already

so i am puzzled as to how we can still owe this much.

Any help mill be greatly appreciated.

Regards

John

The same thing has happened to me, I took out a £10K secured loan, paid back £15K and they say I owe them £23K. What can we do?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards. Anita South London.

What can we do about Blemain, they have caused so much suffering and hardship and they just keep going. I don't wAnt to pay them £38k on a £10k loan, please tell me what I can do to stop this. Is there anybody that has broken free? If so please tell me how, tell us all how? Anita South London

I will get the paperwork out this weekend and let you know what it says about the interest.

If my memory serves me correctly, the interest rate is 12%

I asked if the could reduce it some years ago, to be in line with the Bank of England

and they said that they are not regulated by the Bank of England, that they have their own regulations.

I originally owed money to Swift finance.

In short Blemain took over that loan,

one condition was to take out PPI,

which I did when I needed it for an injury

they said I wasn't covered.

I was in arrears some more than 5 years ago but am not anymore.

They also forced Building insurance on me, when I already had building insurance with my Mortgage company so I was paying double.

I argued about the building insurance as I had a loan with Blemain, not a mortgage.

They insisted and said they were adding it to my loan.

I never ever saw an insurance policy ever.

They have taken advantage of me and I really don't want to pay them £38k for a £10k loan.

I am a little naive single parent who has always worked hard to support my three children.

I wish I could turn the clock back, but unfortunately I can't.

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Anita S L.

Oh dear oh dear. Wait till dx sees this one, I will give him the nod.

PPi does not have a claim expiry date so you will have some work to do.

Do you have a full set of statements of all you have paid ?

no let everyone help

redact and post them here.

**you can post up images/letters by this method immediately..you don't need 10 posts**

.

set your default scan page size to A4 less than 300DPI [150 will do]

scan the required letters/agreements/sheets - as a picture[jpg] file

don't forget you can use a mobile phone or a digital camera too!!

'

BUT......

ENSURE: remove all pers info inc. barcodes etc

but leave all monetary figures and dates.

.

{DO NOT USE A BIRO OR PEN OR USE SEE THRU TAPE OR LABELS]

************************* ************************* ***********

.

DO IT IN MSPAINT.EXE or any photo editing program

goto one of the many free online pdf converter websites ...

http://freejpgtopdf.com/

http://www.convert-jpg-to-pdf.net/

..

if you have multiple scans/pics

put them in a word doc FIRST and convert that to PDF

or http://www.freepdfconvert.com/

or

use www.pdfmerge.com

convert existing PC files to PDF [office has an installable print to PDF option]

..

it would be better to upload a multipage pdf if

you have many images too rather than many single pdfs

.

or if you have PDF as an installed printer drive use that

or use word and save as pdf

or use Primo PDF.

.

try and logically name your file so people know what it is.

though DONT USE BANK NAMES or CAG in the title

i'e Default notice DD-mm-yyyy

.

open a new msg box here

hit go advanced below the msg box

hit manage attachments below that box

hit the add files button on the top right

hit select files, navigate to your file on your pc

hit upload files

...

YOU DONT have to put a link to the attachment in the msg box..just upload it ..job done

you can click on your links to check them too!
