Roxburghe loses licence

The OFT has refused to renew the consumer credit licences of debt purchaser HFO Capital Limited, and two associated debt collectors, HFO Services Limited and Roxburghe (UK) Limited.

At last, pity they have been allowed to [problem] and intimidate people for 3 years since first been looked at.

 

 

I do hope the BPA DVLA act quickly now!!!

 

No doubt they will appeal and probably be able to carry on until the appeal is heard?

How long has it taken the OFT to act ? I am sure these companies have been on a warning for years, with complaints going back for as long as I can remember.

They do have the opportunity to appeal!!

Roxburghe have indicated that they will appeal. The problem is that they are allowed to trade as normal whilst they wait for the appeal to be heard. this could take months so for the poor sods who get the phone calls and letters from them still suffer.

 

I haven't hard whether HFO will appeal and considering Roxburghe are on HFOs licence, confuses the issue somewhat.
