Sorry to hijack the thread but not sure how to post.

I'm dealing with Fredrickson chasing for MBNA for £10.5k. I've sent the CCA request and eventually yesterday received a reply. I can't scan so I'll type in the gist. They've returned the PO and said to contact MBNA as it is for them to answer. They also say they will hold further action for 28 days and then continue chasing it up.

It;s clearly a standard letter with

adm_BOA_cca_sar

on the bottom of the letter. It looks like they have decided not to comply with request to provide CCAs or SAR as per legal requirements.

Has anyone any suggestions as to what to do next please? It's been such a relief not to have those vile texts all day every day.

Help please anyone?

does this show on your cra file?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Right, next stage. Sent CCA request to MBNA who have returned it with signature. Today got a letter from Bryan Carter saying pay in next 14 days or they recommend action.

They say to contact Freddies with an offer, not MBNA. There has been no notice of assignment and MBNA have not replied to an offer of a token gesture.

What should be done next? Business has gone bump and there are no jobs to be had, should I go for CCJ because at least the court will accept a small amount and the 6 year clock will finally start ticking.

Any suggestions please?
