Hi, my wife has a loan with Lloyds, we live in New Zealand.

We wrote to Lloyds to say we could no longer repay the full monthly payments of 75 pounds and would be able to make a reduced monthly payment of 20 pounds.

We got no reply to that, so my wife wrote a letter asking for there Direct Debit details so she could start paying the reduced amount. Lloyds wrote back saying they had no knowledge of the outstanding debts and all of my wifes accounts were closed and in credit.

Now we have had a letter from SCE solicitors saying she owes the outstanding amount and it must be payed in full within 14 days.

Shall we photocopy the 'no knowledge letter' and send it back to them stating that WE AND THEY do not acknowledge this debt.

Thanks in advance
