I don't really know how to use this site, but after following instructions issued my first letter to NatWest. I don't exactly know what my total 'charges' are, but do know that in the last year they have been over £2,000.

I have today received a letter from them headed Data Protection Act 1998 - basically saying that they can send me a complete list of my charges and transactions at a cost of £5, and to send a cheque. Do i ignore this letter because it does not directly answer my letter to them? I am not sure what to do? They also sent me another letter from a different dept saying that they would be increasing my overdraft limit to £800 instead of £300 - i hadn't asked for that!

Any advice for a newcomer would be greatly welcomed!
