hi all

After plucking up the courage to start my claim with natwest, i have decided to go the full hog and claim back all my charges on all my different a/c's

having come across all my details from my hsbc a/c which i know i had incurred charges on i thought i try claiming back these charges too.

I have contacted hsbc by phone requesting copies of statements, however was told unable to do this as a/c closed.

So after reading F.A.Q. several times i have today printed S.A.R. and issused check for 10.00 requesting my statements.

will be posting this letter tomorrow morning and then it's sit back and wait to hear.

lets see what happens

If the account has been closed you may be asked to verify who you are, and that you have authorisation to receive this information. You may be better off taking your SAR into the local branch, along with a copy of a driving licence, or anything else that has your address on it...this will stop any hold-ups on your claim.

Anything that you have that can prove who you are, or were, will help you no end. They will take certified photocopies, so so your old passport along with a current document should suffice.
