Hi there

Has anyone else been refused a refund by HSBC on the grounds that the OFT ruling only applies to credit card accouts?

Any tips of how i come back at them? They owe me a grand and I'm not giving up!!

Thanks,

G

I would be tempted to reply, advising them that they have obviously misunderstood the OFT ruling and that they should seek legal advice in order to respond to your request within the legal timeframe you have already advised them of.

They are coming up with some amazingly daft letters!!!
