Hi all,

Firstly thanks for this site and for all the great advice that you give.

I have had my Lloyds TSB account all my life (I'm 33 now) but over the past few years have incurred, like so many, charges. This hasn't really happened in the last 12mths but I went through a period where charges were eating up a lot of the deposits, if you know what I mean.

I really would like to try and claim these back but wouldn't really like to lose the account - I go to a small branch where I know the staff and over the years they have been fantastic - even the manager!

What do you think the chances are of claiming but yet still retaining the account?

Many thanks

x

Guest stephen

hi

i think the chance of you losing the accout is small, most people who have made a claim and won, have kept there accounts, the only reason abbey closed mine is becuase I refused to settle for a full refund , and only after this did the close my account.

However there is always a small chance they might.

Hope that helps

I arranged a meeting with my branch manager, they seem to not have a clue what I was on about, just giving you the t+c stuff with a friendly explanation, though they will pass it on to a relavent department no doubt.

Managers are customer relations nothing more.
